Ridgefield, CT, October 26, 2007 --(PR.com)-- “The Russian American Kids Circus on stage makes spirits soar and crowds roar,” so said the New York Times, and you will echo that sentiment as the Russian American Kids Circus performs at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, November 10 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. as part of the Pepsi Children’s Series. The awe-inspiring show is underwritten by the Toy Chest and Westchester Family Magazine.
Everyone loves a circus. The Russian American Kids Circus is extraordinary. It is a fully staged professional production whose stars are all children between the ages of six and sixteen. These professionals positively dazzle their audiences with flying acrobatics, synchronized unicycling, artful juggling, daring aerial feats, precision acts of balancing and, of course, amusing clowns that never cease to entertain.
The group was founded in Brooklyn by Alex Berenchtein, former Moscow Circus Star, along with his wife, Regina and her mother, Olga Partigul, as an outcome of his academy, The New Way Circus Center, Inc. The group has performed in 32 states and Canada, gathering glowing reviews along the way. For instance, according to The Union Leader in New Hampshire, “Balance, agility, strength, and poise describe a new generation of circus performers.”
For tickets ($25 adult: $20 child under 12) and further information about The Ridgefield Playhouse, call the box office at 203-438-5795; adult tickets may be also purchased online at www.ridgefieldplayhouse.org. The Playhouse is at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street.
