Prior to rebooting his company, Bill was Deputy Director, Technology Transference at the National Additive Manufacturing & Innovation Institute (NAMMI, rebranded as AmericaMakes.us last January) where he led various cutting edge initiatives and projects within industry.

NAMMI was the first Digital Manufacturing institute founded through the Obama Administration’s Manufacturing Revitalization initiative for the US. Through AmericaMakes.us and other institutes since founded in Chicago and North Carolina, with others on the drawing board, the White House hopes to catapult America to the forefront of manufacturing in the world once again.
