Dirty Dancing Leaps on Stage for “Broadway Balances America” Series on The Balancing Act® on Lifetime with Partner Broadway Across America

Tune in as The Balancing Act takes viewers behind-the-scenes of the upcoming touring production of Dirty Dancing, as part of the “Broadway Balances America” series. This show will re-air on September 16th at 7:00 a.m. (ET/PT) on Lifetime.
The six-part special series “Broadway Balances America” will provide interviews highlighting the shows that are featured on Broadway Across America’s 2014-2015 Broadway series nationwide - from Boston to Costa Mesa, from Houston to Minneapolis, and everywhere in between.
In this episode, host Olga Villaverde gives viewers a sneak peek into what goes into the making of this incredible production, its romantic story, sensational choreography and electric music first having captivated millions in the classic movie version in 1987.
Olga gets up close and personal with star Samuel Pergande aka “Johnny Castle” and Associate Choreographer David Scotchford before they hit the road for the North American tour to learn some of the classic dance moves from the show including the iconic final leap between Baby and Johnny.
Dirty Dancing -The Classic Story on Stage features the hit songs, “Hungry Eyes,” “Hey Baby,” “Do You Love Me?” and the heart stopping “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life.”
