Exceptional Children’s Foundation Announces 32nd Annual “First Ever” Golf Benefit
Culver City, CA, September 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Exceptional Children’s Foundation (ECF) announces its 32nd Annual “First Ever” Golf Benefit will take place on Friday, September 19, 2014, at Los Robles Greens (299 South Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks, CA). The event will begin with a shotgun start at 1pm and also feature an awards dinner at 6:30pm.
Launched in 1982 by former ECF Board President Dale Fukamaki, the "First Ever" Golf Benefit helps fund programs that empower children and adults with special needs to reach their greatest potential. Since Dale’s death in 1999, and that of his wife, Toni, in 2011, the Fukamaki family has continued to support the tournament in honor of their parents’ dedication to improving the lives of individuals with special needs.
“ECF is extremely grateful for the dedication of the entire Fukamaki family and Dale’s and Toni’s legacy. Each year, the 'First Ever' Golf Benefit raises much needed funds that make a tremendous impact on the lives of our clients – and provides everyone connected with the event an opportunity to celebrate the lives of two very inspirational individuals. Also, we thank Anthem Blue Cross for once again supporting our event as title sponsor,” said Scott Bowling, President and CEO of ECF.
