Combustion Technologies Announces Its Appointment as a Filtakleen Distributor
Sandy, UT, September 06, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Combustion Technologies USA (“Combustion”), the original manufacturer of the CleanBoost® family of products, is pleased to announce it has signed an agreement withTimken ILS Dayton Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Timken Company (“Timken Interlube”), whereby Timken Interlube has appointed Combustion as an authorized distributor of Filtakleen filtration products in the United States, effective August 8, 2014.
“By-pass filtration has really gained acceptance over the years as a cost-effective and safe way to extend oil drain intervals and maximize equipment life,” says Don Poscente of Combustion. “There are a number of products in the marketplace, but we are not aware of any with the proven, long-term track record of Filtakleen. This product is produced by Interlube, a Timken brand (www.timken.com). It uses a proprietary filter element, enclosed in a removable housing and can be used on hydraulic systems or on engines. Combustion has also developed its own line of engine by-pass filters, using a spin-on design, which is familiar to most mechanics in North America. Both designs are very effective at removing solid contaminants down into the 1-3 micron area and it makes perfect sense for us to offer both products, side by side, to give fleet managers the option to choose what suits them best. And with the large base of Filtakleen filters already installed in fleets in the US, we can now provide an alternative source of replacement Filtakleen elements, as a stocking distributor in the Salt Lake City area.”
