Inaugural New York Metro Joint Cyber Security Conference 2014
The entire security community of the NY, NJ, and CT metropolitan area is joining forces to assemble what they expect will be a premier Cybersecurity Conference on Oct. 7, 2014. The purpose of this educational conference is to heighten cybersecurity awareness and keeping with the National Cyber Security Awareness Month in October.
New York, NY, September 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The New York Metro Joint Cyber Security Conference (NYMJCSC) will hold its inaugural annual cyber security conference at St Francis College, Brooklyn, NY on October 7th, 2014. The New York Metro Joint Cyber Security Conference is the first collaborative event cooperatively developed, organized and sponsored by the local chapters of the leading information security industry organizations – ISACA, ISSA, (ISC)², InfraGard, OWASP and the Cloud Security Alliance.
This joint conference has the additional advantage from the relationship with the FBI and National Security Council. Keynote speakers Leo Taddeo, Special Agent in Charge, FBI NY Cyber Crime Division; and Nathaniel Gleicher, Director for Cybersecurity on the National Security Council will lead discussions on emerging trends in cybersecurity. Real world threats, landscapes, and techniques will be presented in both a local and global climate that result in actionable intelligence.
Driven by the collaboration between members of this coalition, the strength of organizational membership, the provision of desirable CPE credits and the concurrence of National Cyber Security Awareness Month – the NYMJCSC promises to be a well-attended event by members of the information technology, information security, audit, academic, and business communities.
By attending, both the recipient and their Organization profit from the following: Over 20 hours of learning from the track sessions.
