Asurion Returns as Presenting Sponsor for 5th Annual NJ Walks for TS at Mendham
The event will be held Saturday, November 15th.
Bridgewater, NJ, September 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders (NJCTS) is proud to announce Asurion as the Presenting Sponsor for the 5th annual NJ Walks For TS at Mendham on Saturday, November 15, a day set aside to stand up for acceptance, awareness and advocacy on behalf of children and families affected by TS and other neurological disorders.
Asurion, the global leader in providing consumer technology protection services across three continents, has donated $3,000 toward the event – the proceeds from which will help educate teachers and nurses at schools in every corner of the state, as well as conducting peer trainings and anti-bullying sessions on behalf of New Jersey kids with Tourette Syndrome.
“We are proud to continue our sponsorship of the NJ Walks for TS event at Mendham,” said Asurion president Cindy Christy. “Educational outreach programs provided by NJCTS are making a difference for our neighbors in the Tourette Syndrome community.”
Asurion offers technical support to help customers derive optimum benefit from the usage of electronics; mobile security to help ensure content privacy; and rapid replacement of lost, stolen, damaged or malfunctioning devices – all to provide consumers complete peace of mind.
“We appreciate Asurion’s generous and continuing support on behalf of New Jersey’s kids,” said NJCTS Executive Director Faith W. Rice. “This sponsorship will help make this year’s walk a great success.”
