CVM at Sunrise Interview Explores the Realities of Making Money Online in Jamaica
World-renowned internet marketer, Alicia Lyttle, recently sat down with Rohan Daley and his co-host on CVM TV’s popular morning show, CVM at Sunrise, to discuss the ins and outs of how Jamaicans can make money online in Jamaica.
Kingston, Jamaica, September 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- With the country currently being dogged by a stagnant job market, many Jamaicans have turned to entrepreneurial ventures, fueled by the power of the internet. World-renowned internet marketer, Alicia Lyttle, recently sat down with Rohan Daley and his co-host on CVM TV’s popular morning show, CVM at Sunrise, to discuss the ins and outs of how Jamaicans can make money online in Jamaica.
During the discussion, Alicia was quizzed about the realities surrounding earning an income online and the boot camps that her company, Internet Income Jamaica, run periodically. She explained that the company, based at the Lee Gore Business Centre, 31 Upper Waterloo Road, trains people from all walks of life on how to market their skills online and successfully run a business from their laptops.
“They bring their laptops to our training center and we teach them how to work online and earn a good income working online…We teach them everything they need to know in a hands on environment,” she stated.
Alicia went on to further explain how Internet Income Jamaica trains people to become freelancers who can stay right here in Jamaica and earn an income by assisting clients from countries all over the world. According to her, Jamaicans have been freelancing their skills to clients as far away as Australia, doing everything from proofreading and writing to dancing and singing.
Every year, many college students graduate but find it difficult to gain suitable employment, with some turning to less than desirable jobs that may not be able to even pay off their student loans. Apart from that, there are many others, with or without tertiary education, who are finding it hard to land any form of meaningful employment due to the tight fiscal space the country is currently operating under. The discussion between Alicia Lyttle and the CVM at Sunrise hosts highlighted how many of these persons could turn their skills and knowledge into cash. When asked to explain further how it works, Alicia noted that persons who are currently benefitting from the training of her team, market at least six talents they have and/or skills that they are good at. However, she also pointed out that many of the persons who come in for training don’t think they have any marketable skills until they are assessed and then made aware of how other persons similar to them are successfully earning money online.
As it relates to the risks surrounding how to make money online in Jamaica, Rohan Daley asked about how persons could avoid being scammed, in light of many horror stories involving unscrupulous websites ripping people off.
“Here’s what people need to know, there are trusted sites online that they need to use,” Alicia explained, “What I tell people is, you’re just working in exchange for money. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.”
In addition, she noted that many people have put their trust in her and her company in utilizing those trusted sites and are now earning a living online; plus lifetime support is offered to all persons who have been trained via Internet Income Jamaica.
The company headed by Alicia and her sister Lorette Lyttle, along with musician Andrew Reid, has been training people for four years on how to make money online and they have uncovered hundreds of success stories so far from their boot camps.
