Automatic High Frequency In-Line Welding Machine for the Production of Urostomy and Colostomy Bags
GEAF offers a fully automatic RF welding and Thermocontact line for the production of ostomy bags of PVC, EVA and PVC-free film
Brighton, MI, October 28, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The welding line is able to produce bags of up to five layers of EVA film and two comfort layers with welding occurring on all four sides of the bag if required. The line is also capable to produce ostomy bags with: Plastic two-part flanges of multiple sizes, Plastic self-adhesive flanges of multiple sizes, Multiple layers of PVC or EVA or comfort layers up to seven total, Open and closed end bags, Bags with automatic charcoal filter assembly, Multiple bag types per line and Multiple bag sizes per line.
The welding line is composed of a number of key units including: Film reel-holders with unwinders; Printing unit; Holes cutting station; Automatic flange feeder; Automatic wafer feeder; Wafer welding machine; Stoma cutting and removing unit; Punching station; Point seal and spot welding station; Automatic carbon filter feeder and filter thermo-contact welding machine; Bag perimeter welding machine; High frequency generator; Perimeter punching station; Scrap separation unit; Accumulation and un-loading unit; PLC controls and safety protections.
The line has been engineered using the latest technologies available which include: Brushless electric motors, four post welding presses, the possibility of monitoring working parameters for each weld cycle, Tel-assistance for remote analysis and diagnostics, Auto-tune RF generator and Arc-flash detection and suppression.
The machine is able to run at a gross rate of 12 cycles per minute while producing two bags per cycle. For additional information regarding GEAF and GEAF medical products machinery visit www.geaf.it or contact GEAF in North America at 810-923-6113 or at jjohnson@allianceusa.biz
