Watch Out Dr. Seuss, Step Aside Mother Goose
Albany, NY, October 28, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Poet, storywriter, graphic artist, and self-proclaimed modern-day Dr. Seuss, Ethan Crownberry has entered the children’s book market with the first three installments of his new paperback series called “Poetic Adventures”.
“They are epic stories,” said Crownberry, “enjoyable by children of all ages. They make great read aloud books for parents and teachers, but are also great for anyone looking for a quick escape.”
Crownberry’s “Poetic Adventure #1: Bobby Bumble’s Afraid to Fly”, a story about an acrophobic bumblebee, is a favorite among his young readers. “I’m hoping all of the ‘Bee Movie’ buzz that’s going around will raise Bobby Bumble’s popularity,” said Crownberry. While “Poetic Adventure #2: A Fish with a Wish”, a story about a selfish fish that makes good, is as popular with adults as it is with children. And now, with autumn in full swing, Ethan Crownberry is hoping “Poetic Adventure #3: The Willies”, a story about a 12 year old boy tormented by his own imagination on the way home from a Halloween party, will quickly become a Halloween season staple.
To celebrate Halloween and the release of his new books, Crownberry is scheduled to read his Halloween tale “The Willies” to the children at the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District, Pashley Elementary School in upstate New York on Monday, Oct 29.
So what is next for Ethan Crownberry? How about “Poetic Adventure #4: Johnny Jetpack”. “It’s in the works,” said Crownberry. “Kids are going to love it. Every child dreams of owning a jetpack. In this story, our hero, Johnny, actually gets one.”
Ethan Crownberry’s “Poetic Adventures” are available directly through the publisher, Lulu.com, at http://www.lulu.com/ethancrownberry, and soon through book retailers worldwide.
