Advanced Clustering Technologies releases their next generation of Pinnacle servers and Horizon workstations featuring Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 v3 "Haswell" processors. In conjunction with this release, ACT also launches their updated website to make it more user-friendly and easier to navigate.

Advanced Clustering Technologies is pleased to announce the newest addition to its Pinnacle and Horizon line of servers and workstations. Built on the latest Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 v3 “Haswell” processors, these new models include Advanced Clustering’s innovative half-width blade, 2U, 3U, and 4U servers, all designed to showcase the performance gains of this new generation of CPUs from Intel.

The new Intel® Xeon® E5 v3 chips offer significant performance improvements over the previous generation of Ivy Bridge Xeon processors,” said Kyle Sheumaker, CTO of Advanced Clustering Technologies. “As an Intel Platinum Provider, we had advance access to these latest chips and were able to see these performance gains from the previous generation, including a doubling of floating point performance, a 25% increase in memory bandwidth, a 20% increase in intra-processor communications, and support for 2133MHz DDR4 memory.”
