Hytrol Conveyor Announced David Peacock as Executive Vice President After Extensive Search
Jonesboro, AR, September 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Hytrol Conveyor Company, Inc., manufacturer of advanced conveyor systems, controls, and solutions announced the new hire David Peacock as Executive Vice President. Peacock was selected after an extensive search process conducted by the Hytrol Board of Directors with the assistance of Jordan-Sitter Associates, Inc., an executive search firm. Peacock is expected to succeed Hytrol President Gregg Goodner in the coming months.
Goodner and Peacock planned a transition to assure a firm and seamless hand off of responsibilities. The transition is expected to take several months. Goodner is pleased to have the opportunity help guide and assist his successor; Peacock appreciates the chance to learn about Hytrol from an excellent and experienced leader. A key component for Peacock’s success will be the opportunity to get to know the owners, employees, integration partners, end users, suppliers, and the Jonesboro community.
Goodner led Hytrol through phenomenal success and growth during his tenure. The company more than doubled in size and firmly entrenched itself as one of the top U.S. materials handling manufacturers and top exporter of U.S. made conveyor solutions.
Peacock moved from San Antonio, Texas and joined Hytrol in Jonesboro, AR, on Sept. 2nd. Peacock’s extensive background prepared him for success at Hytrol. Peacock served in the United States Marine Corps from 1984 to 1996, departing with the rank of Captain. After his military service, Peacock spent 18 years in manufacturing management positions. Most recently Peacock was Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of Kalmar RT Center in Cibolo, Texas.
