New York, NY, September 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- American Conference Institute (ACI) is pleased to announce that the Honorable Jacqueline Bonilla, ALJ from the USPTO’s Patent and Trial Appeal Board (PTAB) will present at this year’s ACI Paragraph IV Disputes Master Symposium which will take place at the InterContinental Hotel in Chicago on September 30 – October 1, 2014.
Stephanie Butler, Division Manager with ACI remarked that “ACI is ecstatic that conference delegates will have the coveted opportunity to hear directly from a member of the PTAB.” Butler went on to add that “the PTAB is now a critical forum in Paragraph IV matters and it is essential to have an understanding of this court and its evolving role in these matters.”
Lisa Piccolo, Senior Industry Manager, Life Sciences and Health Care with ACI, noted that, “IPR and now PGR have become game changers in Hatch-Waxman litigation and that hearing directly from a member of the body that rules in such matters will provide attendees with unique insights into the inner workings of this court.” Piccolo went on to note that in addition to the PTO Procedures panel that Judge Bonilla will be speaking on, the conference also features a workshop on the nuts and bolts and protocols of PTO Practice as it applies to Paragraph IV litigation.”
