Atlantis Project Opens 2015 Applications
2015 applications have opened for Atlantis Project pre-health internships.
Belews Creek, NC, September 19, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Atlantis Project has announced that applications have opened for 2015 pre-health internship programs in Europe.
Students can choose from summer, winter, or spring break programs in either the Canary Islands (Spain) or the Azores Islands (Portugal). Programs run anywhere from 1 to 10 weeks, depending on the term. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, and spots in the programs are limited.
Atlantis Project participants (known as Atlantis Fellows) spend approximately 25 hours each week shadowing in European public hospitals, improving their language skills, exploring the islands, and having the opportunity to give back to the community - all of this on some of the most beautiful islands in the world.
The Atlantis Project is committed to providing the best experience to help Fellows succeed both within the medical profession and beyond. The internship involves observation only, and does not allow students to do anything they would not do in the United States. Unlike other programs that take undergraduates to developing nations, Atlantis Project students are placed only in hospitals in Spain and Portugal.
