Sullivan Brothers Builders Plans New Development in the Heights
Sullivan Brothers Builders recently announced the acquisition of a tract of land within The Houston Heights to construct a LEED certified, new home community.
Galveston, TX, September 19, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Sullivan Brothers Builders recently announced the acquisition of a tract of land within The Houston Heights to construct a new home community named Tulane Trails. The parcel of land (formerly utilized for commercial purposes) will allow for the construction of up to 51 semi-custom, LEED certified homes in the heart of Houston.
“In conjunction with each home’s luxurious appointments and classic architectural details, Tulane Trails offers all the advantages of inner loop living,” said John R. Sullivan, vice-president of Sullivan Brothers Builders. “Being just a short drive to the Galleria, downtown, Museum District, and both energy corridors is just one of the real advantages for those seeking the city-accessible lifestyle. And with the Heights hike and bike trail traversing through this new neighborhood, many local parks—including Memorial Park—can easily be enjoyed.”
“Tulane Trails will combine timeless Heights’ architectural style with stringent green building practices,” continued Sullivan. “All the homes in Tulane Trails will be thoughtfully constructed using LEED certification standards… making the homes not only reminiscent of the early Heights’ homes, but also eco-smart as well.”
Located in the 700 block of Tulane and Ashland Streets, Tulane Trails by Sullivan Brothers Builders will offer two-story homes ranging from 2,000 to 2,600 square feet with prices starting in the mid-$600,000s. In addition to being LEED certified, the homes will have eco-smart features of EnergyGuard foam insulation, high-efficiency heating/cooling, double-paned insulated windows, tankless water heaters, reclaimed oak flooring, and antique brick exterior accents.
