Golden Gate BPO Solutions Provides Call Center Services to Support Stand Up To Cancer

Weston, FL, September 20, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Golden Gate BPO Solutions, a global provider of customer management and business process outsourcing solutions, provided live US-based call center support for the Stand Up To Cancer primetime TV commercial broadcast on September 5, 2014.

Stand Up To Cancer announced that it has received, so far, more than $109 million in donations and pledges in an effort to accelerate groundbreaking research and new treatments for cancer patients as quickly as possible.

Golden Gate BPO Solutions had over 700 of its call center agents agree to take donation calls from viewers over the television program’s four-hour period.

And, we are so proud of all the agents who quickly, and without hesitation, raised their hands to commit their time, spending an extra 4 hours on a Friday night to make it happen. Since 2008, SU2C has funded 12 “Dream Teams” of researchers and two translational research teams, as well as 26 young innovative scientists whose high-risk, potentially high-reward projects are aimed at ending cancer’s reign as a leading cause of death worldwide.

SU2C was founded on the belief that collaboration would play an integral role in advancing cancer research. To date, Stand Up To Cancer has brought together more than 750 of the best and the brightest research scientists from 112 institutions in six countries to work together in order to save lives now. SU2C-funded researchers have planned, launched or completed more than 140 clinical trials.
