The Napa Valley Wine Train Celebrates 25 Years by Giving Away 25 Pairs of Tickets
The Napa Valley Wine Train celebrates its 25th year by involving the Napa community in social media competitions. The Wine Train will be giving away 25 pairs of tickets during the month of September.
Napa Valley, CA, September 23, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Napa Valley Wine Train, one of the most distinctive restaurants in the Napa Valley, is celebrating its Silver Anniversary through competitions across Social Media with 25 pairs of tickets up for grabs.
“We thought a ticket contest would be an exciting way to give back to the community and our friends around the world. We are so proud to have been a staple in the Napa Valley for a quarter century,” said Kira Devitt, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Napa Valley Wine Train. “25 years, 25 pairs of tickets, and a lot of fun. Come play with us!”
The three competitions are being hosted on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook and invite locals, past guests, and people with the Wine Train on their bucket list to participate.
Two “Selfie Scavenger Hunts” are designed for Napa locals as well as those all over the world. The Napa Area Selfie Scavenger Hunt includes place-specific tasks with the hashtag #WineTrainSelfie while the International Hunt can be done by people from San Francisco to Stockholm using #WorldWineTrain. Selfies have specific point values, with additional points for every “like” on Instagram or “favorite”/“retweet” on Twitter each selfie receives. Users who have accumulated the most points by September 30th will receive a pair of Wine Train tickets on the Gourmet Express package.
On Facebook, the Ultimate Wine Train Photo Contest is a chance for fans to show off their best Wine Train photography. Submitted Ultimate Wine Train Photos capture the essence of the Napa Valley Wine Train experience. Interior, exterior, macro details, the Train in the beautiful landscape, or more. Submissions are accepted until September 29th. The five photos with the most likes on September 30th will win a pair of tickets to the Champagne Vista Dome.
“We have never done something like this before,” said Kim Powers, Content Coordinator for the Wine Train. “This was a lot of fun to create and we can’t wait to see what people come up with for their selfies and ultimate photos.”
While the Wine Train celebrates its official anniversary on September 16th, all contests run through September 30th.
