IPA Representative Speaks at Chicago Women's Business Forum

Buffalo Grove, IL, October 31, 2007 --(PR.com)-- International Profit Associates (IPA-IBA) and International Tax Advisors (ITA) representative, Tyrone Wideman, was a guest speaker for ARISE., a group whose name is inspired by the motto “To Actively Raise and Inspire People to Successfully Build Businesses with Excellence.”

On Tuesday, October 23, 2007, Wideman served as a trainer and guest speaker for the group of women at the Salem Baptist Church of Chicago. His session was designed to address topics including ‘Asset Protection’, ‘Estate Planning – How do I Protect My Business’, ‘How to Create a Business Plan’ and ‘Business Valuation - What is my Business Really Worth?’. Immediately following his presentation, Wideman participated in a question and answer session. This class is part of a series of workshops that runs for seven weeks. The sessions will cover how to start a business, advertising, knowing your product, product display, development of business plans and how to obtain funding. The workshops will provide information to enable business owners to better understand their opportunities in order to grow and prosper.

“This is the third year that I spoke with ARISE,” said Wideman. “It is important to help these women overcome their business obstacles and I look forward to an annual participation.”

ARISE launched in 2004 by the Salem Baptist Church of Chicago, under the leadership of Pastor James T. Meeks and the direction of Mrs. Jamell Meeks. Her vision for the ARISE program was to help women overcome barriers to the successful launching and sustaining of their businesses.
