SSAE 16 Type II certification is awarded after completing a rigorous, independent audit of technology services, processes, and controls. A complete review of systems, including Infrastructure, Software, People, Procedures, and Data was conducted for PPI by Assure Professional, a trusted provider of audit and accounting services. Critical components to obtaining this certification include the ability to assess and reduce risk, assure business continuity, and provide controlled security measures to ensure privacy and confidentiality of data. The assessment process involves the completion of a Service Organization Controls (SOC) 1 report.
