Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries Accredits Zuma’s Rescue Ranch
Littleton, CO, September 21, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS), is the only globally recognized organization providing standards for identifying legitimate animal sanctuaries, awarded Accredited status to Zuma’s Rescue Ranch
Zuma’s Rescue Ranch (ZRR) first achieved Verification status by GFAS in September 2011 meeting criteria for providing humane and responsible care to equines. With dedication and commitment to demonstrating high levels of professionalism, ZRR has now achieved Accredited status. Accreditation signifies that Zuma’s Rescue Ranch meets GFAS’s rigorous and peer-reviewed equine care standards that are confirmed by a site visit and has also demonstrated adherence to standards addressing the sustainability of the organization, ethical principles, finances, staffing, education outreach, security, safety and other operational aspects.
