The Advanced Systems & Designs GageMux® USB has revolutionized data collection and storage. This GageMux® USB gage interface is available with two (2), four (4), or eight (8) inputs, can daisy-chain up to 500 gages, and reads directly from Mitutoyo gages or other Digimatic output gage cables such as their Digimatic output FlashCable®. All of their GageMux® USB provide configurable options using rotary switches or commands stored in E memory. The GageMux® USB has LED indicators that communicate to the user if a reading is sent to the computer, if a gage is reading incorrectly, as well as which output mode is configured (Keyboard, USB or RS232).
As with their other gage interfaces, the GageMux USB+RS232+Keyboard requires no confusing software wedges or other intermediary software. The GageMux® USB has a simple, user friendly setup – your computer automatically installs the USB driver when the GageMux® is plugged into your computer USB port---just plug and play.
If the customer wants to use the GageMux® as a RS232 9-pin output device, they simply change the internal switch settings, connect a serial cable, and the GageMux® will send data to their computer RS232 COM port. No need for additional drivers or messy external cable converters.
