Worth It Project Works to End Child Slavery Through Life Insurance Purchases

St. Louis-based BryanMark Group launches Worth It Project a life insurance based charitable endeavor focused on the fight against child slavery.

St Louis, MO, September 24, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Nearly 75 million American families rely on the security and protection life insurance provides. The BryanMark Group is pushing the benefits of life insurance even further with the launch of their new charitable endeavor to support efforts to end child slavery through life insurance purchases.

Through the Worth It Project, BryanMark Group will reach a new market segment of clients who could benefit from a term, or in some cases, permanent life insurance policy. If the client’s annualized premium is lower than $50,000, Worth It Project will donate 100% of the revenue from that policy to support efforts to end child slavery.

“My life experiences have allowed me to see the needs of other people,” said Jason Hackmann, BryanMark Group President. “That has created a desire in me to make a difference and be the change wherever I can. The dire circumstances that impact the children in Ghana are just unimaginable. I view their lives in the same manner I would my own or my children’s. If the work of my firm can provide hope to these child slaves, I want to support that.”

Hackmann’s passion for ending child slavery is a result of his first-hand experiences of the overwhelming sense of injustice to children in Africa. Hackmann has been part of several rescue missions and has seen how a child’s life can be turned around with the right support. The Worth It Project's first project will be to fight child slavery in Ghana, where groups such as International Justice Mission are working to free the nearly 40,000 children supporting the fishing industry around Ghana’s Lake Volta.
