Schroeder to Offer Character Voice Workshop in Albany, NY

Albany, NY, September 25, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Erica Schroeder, one of the busiest character voices in animation, returns to Albany, NY for a two-day Character Voice Workshop the weekend of October 11-12, 2014. Hosted by Voice Coaches, the country’s leading voice acting training company, Erica will offer her unique take on different styles of character voice acting. Participants will learn how to develop characters of their own, workshop a scene under Erica’s tutelage, and work on a live “dub” of a 10-minute scene. Her first two classes offered here were sell-outs.

Best known for her work in the popular anime TV series Pokémon and as Blaze the Cat on Sonic Rush, she plays several characters in the Sonic the Hedgehog video games. She’s also credited in the TV series’ G.I. Joe: Sigma 6, Winx Club and Yu-Gi-Oh! In her almost 30-year career as a voice actor she has performed in more than 60 TV series, movies, and video games.

Erica Schroeder’s Character Voice Workshop starts Saturday, October 11 with a 9am to 5pm open forum, including plenty of time for Q & A with the popular voice actor. Sunday, October 12 is reserved for one-hour private tutorials.
