INsig2 LawTech Europe Congress Premieres New Documentary Film "The Decade of Discovery" at Its 2014 Event in Prague
INsig2 LawTech Europe Congress in conjunction with Bloomberg BNA and 10th Mountain Films is pleased to present the Europe premiere of the new documentary film "The Decade of Discovery." Please join them on October 20 at the INsig2 LawTech Europe Congress dinner for a documentary film screening and panel discussion at the Veduta Restaurant in the Clarion Congress Hotel Prague.
Prague, Czech Republic, September 25, 2014 --(PR.com)-- "The Decade of Discovery" is a historical documentary of events that took place from 2002-2012. It’s the story of a government attorney (LTEC2014's Day 2 Keynote Speaker Jason R. Baron) on a quest to find a better way to search White House e-mail, and a teacher who takes a stand for civil justice on the electronic frontier. INsig2 LawTech Europe Congress is honored to present this film during its conference dinner on 20 October. This enlightening film will be highly inspirational to the delegates of this annual event on electronic evidence, digital forensic investigation, cyber security, and law office technologies.
U.S. litigation has traditionally been adversarial, resulting in a reluctance to cooperate in the fact finding process. This presents an obstacle to finding the truth - especially in the new world of millions of email. "The film charts the 10 year journey of a group of judges, lawyers, and scientists," said Joe Looby, the Director of the film. "It's a film about the changing role of an attorney, the right to learn the truth from your adversary, and the right to learn the truth from your government."
The issues are even more dramatic when considered on a global scale. Cross-border disputes involve unique challenges including conflicting statutes and uncooperative countries. With the increased acceptance of electronic discovery around the world, there is great hope for cooperation in discovery.
"We are at a crucial tipping point of European mass adoption of the use of electronic evidence and cross-border information requests," said Frederick Gyebi-Ababio, Director of INisg2 LawTech Europe Congress. "This powerful film illustrates the importance of cooperation in discovery to find the truth and realize justice. Its premiere at LTEC2014 will substantially enhance the experience of our delegates."

He practiced as an Environmental Enforcement attorney for New York. A founder of the technology practices at Deloitte and FTI, he co-invented a patented system for detecting fraud in financial audits, and he lead the Bankruptcy Trustee’s forensic investigation of the "black box" trading systems that Madoff used to perpetrate the largest Ponzi scheme in U.S. History. He has provided expert testimony, and has presented findings before the SEC, DOJ, and the FBI.
