Casa Dorada Los Cabos Reopens in Record Time After Category 4 Hurricane Hits Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, September 25, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Casa Dorada Los Cabos Resort & Spa just announced that it will welcome guests starting October 9th, 2014, just over three weeks after Category 4 Hurricane Odile hit the area on September 14th leaving major damage throughout Cabo San Lucas, the municipality of Los Cabos and the state of Baja California Sur, Mexico.

The phenomenon that left the destination without power, water, and communications also caused numerous flight cancellations, but Mexican authorities, with help from the military and commercial airlines, managed to safely evacuate approximately 20,000 tourists just days after the disaster.

Casa Dorada Los Cabos has only sustained minor damage and will be 100% operational by October 9th. Guests will be able to enjoy all services and facilities including Saltwater Spa, restaurants and bars, swimming pools, and Beach Club. All water sports and activities will be available on Medano Beach and most tourist-related businesses are scheduled to reopen in early to mid October with many restaurants already back in business.

Power, water and communications have already been restored in many areas and security is in place throughout Los Cabos with the presence of Federal Police and the Military.
