Send Me On Vacation Announces Jetting Pick Across America: a Healing Journey for Breast Cancer Survivors
Reston, VA, September 26, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Tigerlily Foundation is excited about October, in part because this year, in continued partnership with Send Me On Vacation (SMOV), we will be Jetting Pick Across America on a "Healing Journey for Breast Cancer Survivors". This October, along with SMOV, they will be partnering with Jet Blue Airlines, Club Med, Diamond Resorts International, Zappos and Zonin-USA to "Jet Pink" across America for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
SMOV is a 501 (c)(3) charity with the mission of sending breast cancer survivors on vacations to rejuvenate their body, mind and spirit. This upcoming October, working with Tigerlily Foundation, Send Me On Vacation has selected breast cancer survivors to grant vacations to. Members of Tigerlily Foundation and SMOV will travel to San Francisco, New York, Washington D.C., Los Angeles and Las Vegas, Nevada. In each of the six cities, a walk will be held in honor of local breast cancer survivors. Send Me On Vacation and Tigerlily Foundation have a shared belief in increasing awareness of the emotional challenges survivors face during breast cancer. The group has gained national media exposure with KTLA Los Angeles, bringing light to their journey to raise awareness about breast cancer and the struggles that many breast cancer survivors face when the physical treatment has been completed and the emotional healing begins.
Send Me On Vacation is excited for this multi-city journey to raise awareness for breast cancer survivors and to raise funds to send incredibly deserving women on vacations to heal their mind, body and spirit.
