Azzore Veterinary Specialists Goes Green; Participates in National Solar Tour October 4th 2014
Russellville, AR, September 27, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The American Solar Energy Society (ASES) is holding its 19th annual National Solar Tour to showcase selected solar installations across the country. And Azzore Veterinary Specialists is one of the installations you can visit on the tour. Come to the largest grassroots solar event in the nation and be apart of the Renewable Energy Revolution. Attending the tour will allow you the opportunity to see new and innovative technologies locally that will benefit our environment on a global level! Americans have a voice in how they get their energy, so visit homes on the tour to learn and be a part of the solution to our energy problems.
The National Solar Tour takes place on Saturday, October 4, from 10am to 4pm and will showcase solar technologies your neighbors are using to reduce energy bills, lower harmful emissions, lessen dependence on foreign oil, receive tax credits, and improve property values. This is a chance to see affordable and practical technologies, in your neighborhood, that benefit the environment and are part of the solution to our nation’s energy problems. If you are considering solar energy, please consider visiting a business or resident participating in the National Solar Tour to learn more.
“Since installing our solar panels, we have generated enough energy to power 25,199 light bulbs for a day, and saved 12,630.55 pounds of CO2 Emission, which is equivalent to planting 324 trees,” says Dr. Terry Dew of Azzore Veterinary Specialists (http://azzore.com). “Solar power is good for the environment, and with lower equipment prices and Federal and local tax incentives, it can be an attractive option for the average consumer.”
The ASES National Solar Tour is the largest grassroots solar event in the nation, involving about 160,000 participants and 5,500 solar-energy sites nationwide in 3,200 communities across the United States. This event is coordinated nationally by the nonprofit American Solar Energy Society in collaboration with dozens of outstanding partner organizations. It takes place annually during the first Saturday in October in conjunction with National Energy Awareness Month.
