Local 17-Year-Old Producer/DJ Giuliano Rascan Signs with World War Trading Co. of Universal Attractions Agency
Local 17 year-old Producer/DJ Giuliano Rascan hints at a big future and signs with New York City based boutique management company, World War Trading Co., the new division of Universal Attractions Agency which is well known for launching the career of James Brown and representing him for over 40 years.
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, September 25, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Giuliano Rascan who recently graduated from Charles Best Secondary High School, was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. His father, Will Rascan of Heavy-Metal band Sacred Blade, introduced his son to music at a very young age. As Giuliano developed a strong interest with heavy metal bands like Metallica, he learned how to play the drums at just 13-years-old.
After his mother, Janie Fumo, took him to his first DJ lesson later than year, Rascab started producing. He found a way to transition his interest of heavy metal into producing heavier bass-lined synths and wobbles and create a genre called Dubstep. This can be heard in his single release, “Radiant,” on Steve Aoki's label Dim Mak Records and his official MT EDEN – Chasing “Remix” now available on the number one indie/dance label Ultra Records.
He started playing show after show in the small city of Vancouver of British Columbia and established a name for himself. He has played alongside Zeds Dead, MT Eden, Excision, Datsik, Dvbbs, Loud Pvck, CRNKN, SleepyTom, Hedspin and many more.
Out of curiosity to expand his horizons and try out some new production techniques, Rascan started drawing from his interest in Pop/Indie/Dance music and incorporated his love for indie/dance and alternative rock music into producing progressive house music with a twist of his own sound, which soon took a curve for the best. You can hear this production in his original records featuring singer songwriter, Andrew Farr, "Front Row Seat," and "Save Yourself."
His first progressive house remix of the band Coasts’ hit single, “Stay,” on Turbo Recordings hints at more than just an up-beat pop record. You can really hear the sounds of the world. It's a global record.
Rascan has expressed that new music is coming for those who have been following his work, but can’t share with what label he's signing to yet. He did however mention that it’s going to be big.
Recently sharing a video on his Facebook music page of a band called Ugo (pronounced 'you-go'), a Hip-Hop and Rock group founded by Christopher Lee, Raymond Duplessis, and Josh Cohen signing to their new track, “Love is on the Run,” leaves you wanting for more...
This music collaboration of pop-lyrics, live instruments and progressive electronic production, is highly anticipated with no exact release date as of yet but Rascan ensures the delivery is well worth the wait.
