DHA Filter Turns U.S. Manufacturing Pink for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Jacksonville, FL, September 27, 2014 --(PR.com)-- DHA Filter today announced it is proud to partner with Komen North Florida for the Month of October to spread breast cancer awareness to the U.S. manufacturing community. A portion of the sales from a special “pink” dust cartridge will benefit the North Florida Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.
Funds raised by the sale of the American made pink dust cartridges are used to award grants to local hospitals and clinics that provide free mammograms, biopsies, education materials, genetic testing and transportation assistance to disadvantaged residents in the five-county North Florida area. Over the past 18 years, the organization has awarded more than $1.6 million to help people in our community.
For the month of October, DHA Filter will replace their trademark blue helix pleat stabilizers that lock the pleats of the dust cartridge with pink to promote breast cancer awareness.
