The Cooking Show Opens "Studio B" in Downtown Boston
The Cooking Show has new state-of-the-art broadcast kitchen studio in Downtown Boston. Filmed live from Rustic Kitchen Bistro & Bar, The Cooking Show continues to be the only television show hosted by a real chef before a real live audience inside of a fully functioning restaurant.
Boston, MA, September 27, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Cooking Show has moved into a brand new state-of-the-art 42-seat broadcast studio kitchen in downtown Boston. This new street level glass-enclosed entertainment venue offers pedestrians outside a taste of Rockefeller Center right here on Stuart Street.
The Cooking Show continues to be the country’s only television cooking show hosted each week by a real chef before a real live audience inside of a fully functioning restaurant. Located at Rustic Kitchen Bistro & Bar in Park Square, this popular weekly cooking show occurs every Friday evening at 7:00 PM. Due to overwhelming demand, additional shows are now planned to be added on Thursday evenings for the holiday season.
The Cooking Show is hosted by Chef Liz Bramwell, Executive Sous Chef at Rustic Kitchen, and alumna of the Culinary Institute of America. The show airs throughout New England in over 2 million households on Xfinity OnDemand.
“It is very exciting to have outgrown our original studio and now have this incredible and beautiful purpose-built venue,” said Executive Producer Jim Cafarelli, “the possibilities are endless for new creative programming.”
“Liz is a natural in the kitchen and on camera, and now more patrons have a chance to see what everyone who comes to our Friday night tapings has witnessed over the last eight years – that you can have a lot of fun in the kitchen...even if you don't cook!" Cafarelli adds. Bramwell is a South Shore native and has worked in and opened restaurants all over the country.
The Cooking Show has been honored with 11 New England Emmy® nominations in the past two years. In 2013, The Cooking Show and its production company, Honey Bunny Media LLC, was recognized with an Emmy® Award for "Best Interstitial" by the Boston/New England chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
