For the Luv and Food Was a Big Success
Three area nonprofit organizations joined forces to feed dozens of homeless Vets, men, women, and children Wednesday, while spreading lots of Luv.
San Bernardino, CA, September 29, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Luv Daily Foundation, Inc., Joshua Home: An LGBTQ Safe Haven and Sold Out for Jesus Outreach founder Bishop Roxie who prepared the food, spent the day spreading LUV and feelings of worthiness to dozens of homeless men, women and children in San Bernardino, Wednesday, September 24, 2014.
The purpose of the event was to provide hot meals and hygiene kits to some of our many homeless neighbors, but, also to spread awareness throughout the community that help is available to them.
“It’s important that this population knows that we care about their wellbeing and assure them that they have not been forgotten,” said Tamia Daily, founder of Luv Daily Foundation, Inc. which has been feeding low-income families in the Inland Empire since 2008.
The three organizations have joined forces to strengthen their individual missions by collaborating on Community Outreach programs geared to empower the at-risk residents of the Inland Empire.
Annette Patterson says, “Collectively we will bring a wave of philanthropic change to the area which is one of the poorest in the nation. Encouraging other local organizations to join forces as well, will cause a huge shift in the needs of the homeless, children, poor and elderly in our communities being met.”
“We want to thank our Supporters Stater Brothers, Food4Less, the Women Veterans Unity Group, and the many other individuals who gave for their help in making this happen,” Tamia Daily.
