PrimeComposite Concrete Flooring Receives First North American Installation
Rabine Group’s jointless concrete innovation was successfully installed in Illinois.
Chicago, IL, October 01, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Rabine Group is excited to announce that it’s award-winning concrete flooring system PrimeComposite has been installed at the Scot Forge facility in Spring Grove, Illinois.
The entire installation took place over the course of 16 days, with the initial test slab placed on Aug. 20. The installation measured 6,000 square feet with a thickness of 12 inches. The new PrimeComposite installation is steel fiber reinforced with proprietary additives, requiring no control joints. The concrete slab was placed on Aug. 21 and allowed to cure for 14 days. Scot Forge facility operations resumed production on Sept. 5.
Successful installations of PrimeComposite have been implemented throughout large warehouse, retail and industrial facilities across the world, with installations in over 10 countries.
PrimeComposite is the world’s strongest and leanest jointless flooring system, requiring no joints on a daily pour. PrimeComposite is a winner of a 2013 Chicago Innovation Award as well as the winner of the Most Innovative Products award for 2012 and 2013 at World Of Concrete in Las Vegas.
The lack of joints in PrimeComposite make it an economical and ecological product, reducing the slab thickness by 30% and drastically reducing the amount of carbon dioxide pumped into the atmosphere.
