US Border & National Security Summit: Driving Border Technology & Intelligence Sharing in Homeland Security
Washington, DC, October 01, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Defense Strategies Institute (DSI) announces the 2nd Annual US Border & National Security Summit to be held December 9 & 10, 2014 in Alexandria, VA.
The 2nd Annual US Border & National Security Summit is designed as an educational and training “Town Hall” forum, where thought leaders and key policy-makers across Homeland Security, Border Security, Intelligence Agencies, and law enforcement officials can come together for actionable discussions and debate.

* Border and ISR technology gaps, including radar and sensor technologies: what's needed and what's not

* Leveraging multi-source intelligence to make the best use of limited operational resources
* National Network of Fusion Centers as the two-way intelligence and information flow lead
* Strengthening multinational investigations, information sharing, and science and technology cooperation
Maritime Security & Counter Narco Terrorism Drug Interdiction
*Deterring, Disrupting, and Defeating Transnational Terrorist Organizations to include drug cartels, organized piracy operations, and radical militant groups
*Coast Guard recapitalization efforts to improve readiness and capability
