MMA Fight Entertainment Company to Donate a Portion of Proceeds to Education Organization
Mixed Martial Art event entertainment company wants to help children's educational organization. Batalla MMA will donate a part of the proceeds to The Purple Group Organization.
Universal City, CA, October 02, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Batalla MMA Fight Entertainment, a live event and television production company, announced that it will, beginning 2015, donate a portion of all proceeds to The Purple Group Organization, a 501 (C) 3 education organization in the United States.
"These are tough financial times for organizations trying to raise funds for education," said Jordi Hernandes, public relations manager for Batalla MMA Entertainment. "Our company was looking for a way to give back to the community and this was an excellent way to contribute. One can never go wrong helping kids get the education they deserve and need," he added.
The exact amount of the donation is not known at this time. The Purple Group will receive the donation on a quarterly basis starting June 2015. Donated funds will be used to buy books, computers and build small school buildings in Costa Rica, Jamaica and Africa. "This is very exciting news for the organization and we are happy that Batalla MMA will help us achieve our goals next year," said Martin Morales, spokesperson for The Purple Group. "Sports and education can help one another and this is proof of that," he concluded.
