CUE Leads Blended Learning Theme for Connected Educator Month
Walnut Creek, CA, October 01, 2014 --(PR.com)-- CUE is honored to be named the Blended Learning Theme for Connected Educator Month leading the Blended Learning Theme. CUE is one of several organizations creating and organizing programs, activities, and events to promote the concept of the “Connected Educator” as a way to enhance student success.
“We are pleased to offer CUE resources and activities to all educators that promote blended learning in the classroom. CUE has been at the forefront of the blended learning movement, creating professional development courses; co-hosting eSS (www.elearns.org), our annual blended learning symposium; and promoting its advantages and applications at our two conferences,” said Mike Lawrence, CUE CEO.
Dr. Rob Darrow, co-chair of CUE’s eLearning Network added: “We are looking forward to collaborating with outstanding blended learning educators from across California and the nation to highlight how blended learning customizes instruction, empowers learning and increases student achievement.”
CUE’s activities and programming can be found on the Connected Educator website during the month of October and beyond, along with other events and activities produced by other Theme Leaders such as the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and Association for Supervision & Curriculum Development (ASCD). CUE will begin with a panel of blended learning experts on Monday, October 6 at 7:00 EST / 4:00 PST. Each week, CUE will feature a panel of experts which will be followed by weekly Tweet Ups, blog posts and other resources to support educator. Teachers and administrators are welcome to participate in this free professional development opportunity both synchronously and asynchronously to increase their knowledge about blended learning.
