Delhi, India, October 03, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Promoting professional football in India, The Football FaktoryTM is a soccer school designed to develop the personal and technical skills of the youth. Based in Delhi, the school opens its first center in Dwarka this October and plans to spread across the length and breadth of the country in due course of time.
The Football FaktoryTM strives to inculcate the spirit of football in the youth of today. Starting at an early age, the team takes a professional approach towards the holistic development of children right from harnessing their technical skills to instilling leadership qualities.
Co-Founded by an ex–professional footballer, Mark Seagraves brings his wealth of experience and translates his undying passion for the game into well structured and fun inspiring football coaching sessions. Being a UEFA accredited coach and having played and coached at the highest level, Mark aims to nurture the next generation of Indian footballers.
Working with a team of qualified football coaches and professionals, The Football FaktoryTM boasts of a well-knit team that compliments its purpose of presenting India with its first Soccer/Football School that puts its students’ interests before its own.
Having launched the first ever Concept Football Clinic successfully at Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka on the 13th of September 2014, the team plans to run workshops in various schools in Dwarka in the coming days. Their next center will be launched in Goa where they have received a tremendous response children, parents and school faculties alike. Interested parents can check their official page https://www.facebook.com/thefootballfaktory for updates regarding their workshops and centers in India.
With its official launch on the 26th Sept, the school also displayed its technical approach towards coaching by organising a training session, which was highly praised by the kids and their parents. The Chief Guest at the event Dr. Surender Bhandoria who has been recently been felicitated with the Bharat Gaurav Award, believes that The Football FaktoryTM will bring about a much required change in the soccer circle in India. A sentiment reiterated by David Boddy, the Chairperson at the event who has also played competitive football in New Zealand’s First Division. He added that he has around 150 schools in the UK where he would like to invite The Football FaktoryTM team to come and gauge the possibilities of collaborating with them, as a lot of these schools also provide sponsorship in sports education. Impressed by our initiative, he concluded, “the day won’t be far when players from India will be representing their country in international clubs.”
With a population of over 1.2 billion, The Football FaktoryTM feels it’s about time that the world stopped and took notice of India as a footballing nation. With the ISL around the corner and the Under 17 FIFA World Cup coming to India by 2017, the nation is ready to embrace the change.
Mark Seagraves, in his welcome speech to all the guests said that his team aims to bring a long awaited professional coaching programme to the grassroots of Indian Football. They will endeavour to develop players to have the necessary technical skills and mental strength to play football at the highest level within India and beyond.
Mark lays emphasis on the fact that there can be no shortcuts to this development programme and patience is required by both, parents and coaches. He adds, "A professional footballer doesn't happen overnight, however it will happen with the right approach and determination from the children and a constructive coaching environment."
Mark asserts that The Football FaktoryTM will get to where it aims and it will be the best and the most professional Soccer School in India.
