South Lake Tahoe, CA, October 09, 2014 --(PR.com)-- About Susie Marchini
Susie Marchini stayed home to raise her daughters. She approached parenting with a purpose: to raise her daughters to have self-esteem and a sense of possibility. She will always want them to believe they can do anything they want to if they set their minds to it. Ms. Marchini learned about parenting from her own parents, David and Jacqueline Phanco. They shaped her priorities to be faith, family, and friends. All of what she preached to her own children became her life lesson to learn when the opportunity to start and grow a publishing company became a reality. Her father, David Phanco, created the original duplicating student laboratory notebook over 24 years ago. He saw this product develop into its fourth iteration and it has become the industry standard. It was always his vision to have the school crest and name on the cover for each university and that is the product Ms. Marchini so proudly represents today. The very same high quality product with the most up-to-date periodic table, valuable lab information as well as new information on the “how to use a laboratory” notebook page, authored by the respected Bryan Krantz with the University of California at Berkeley. Ms. Marchini enjoys the opportunity to speak with professionals in the field of science education. “Every successful company is only as strong as its weakest link, so I knew how to stack my team!” Her father had over 42 years in the field of college textbook publishing and before he passed away, in Spring of 2014, it was his guidance and wealth of knowledge that he shared with her that inspired her to launch D.E.P. Publishing Company. Her brother, Tom Phanco, has been an amazing resource as well. He has extensive experience in founding and operating extremely profitable companies. Ms. Marchini was a student of Communications at California State University, Chico. She believes this is her strength when collaborating with educators. “They have something to contribute and I have the privilege of acting as the facilitator of their knowledge. These educators teach me something and I pass it on.”
Ms. Marchini is a member of the Barton Foundation, whose mission is to “Inspire Philanthropy for the Health of Our Community.”
Ms. Marchini is married to John D. Marchini and is the mother of two beautiful daughters, Haley Morgan Marchini and Cassidy Lauryn Marchini. In her leisure time, Ms. Marchini enjoys traveling, reading, tennis, biking and fitness training.
