Ultriva CEO Narayan Laksham Presents Supply Chain Visibility at ISM Institute This Month
Cupertino, CA, October 03, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Narayan Laksham, founder and CEO of Ultriva, will be presenting at the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) of Silicon Valley on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 11:30-1:00 pm (PST) in Cupertino, CA.
Attendees will learn what real-time visibility can do for the organization. Attendees will also understand how manufacturing companies can use their supply chain to improve service levels, streamline production, and optimize inventory. Systems driven discipline in the supply chain leads to substantial continuous improvement.
Laksham will be addressing how part shortages affect production schedules and customer shipments, as well as charges of inventory reduction by management. Salient topics such as how well suppliers are performing and if business is encountering late and partial shipments will be addressed. Laksham’s presentation will cover the importance of Supply Chain Visibility and how it results in improved inventory and service levels.
Laksham has been committed to helping manufacturing companies collaborate with suppliers and gain true supply chain visibility. He is also a co-inventor of the “Inventory Optimization Tool,” that can identify parts best suited for Kanban replenishment and estimate the potential savings. During the last decade, he has visited over 150 manufacturing facilities worldwide to strategize on End to End Pull processes. He is the author of several articles including “When Push Comes to Pull, Kanban wins.”
