Pushparaj Shanmugam, Director of Software Engineering, noted, “Supplier material status in version 7.7 is greatly improved because now it allows users to view the material status for an item in a multi-tier manner. As a supplier, the business user will be able to look at the customer orders, current inventory, and their supplier order status in a 360 degree view. This is a huge benefit to reduce stock out for the customer before it may occur.”
Additionally, serial tracking for items in version 7.7 is a new feature that allows serial controlled items to be delivered to customers with single scan. Users do not have to scan various barcodes but just one barcode and all data is transferred to their ERP system through integration.
Shanmugam explained, “Report Scheduling in version 7.7 is a powerful new feature that allows customers to configure the schedules so that the reports can be delivered to their inbox. Scheduling interval includes daily, weekly, and monthly intervals. The output of the report may be zipped into a zip file to reduce the amount of data delivered to their inbox.”
Shanmugam architects and leads the product development of all Ultriva Products. Shanmugam and his team have taken a lead role in defining the vision and direction of our next generation of products. Shanmugam graduated from Bharthidasan University with a Master’s degree in Computer Electronics.
