South Brunswick, NJ, October 04, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Great food for a great cause. Helping students with Tourette Syndrome continue their education is on the menu at Osteria Procaccini in Kingston. The restaurant will donate a percentage of their profits to the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome (NJCTS) Children's Scholarship Program.
Osteria Procaccini selects an organization to support each quarter and decided on helping teens with Tourette Syndrome this summer. From August through October 31st proceeds from Osteria Procaccini's Kingston location will go to support the NJCTS Scholarship Program which has helped hundreds of graduating high school seniors with Tourette Syndrome since 2001. Tourette Syndrome (TS) is a neurological disorder characterized by uncontrollable movements or sounds known as tics. It is estimated that there are over 20,000 youth living with TS in New Jersey.
"I'm so appreciative that Osteria Procaccini is donating a percentage of their sales to the NJCTS Children's Scholarship Program," said NJCTS board member Tim Kowalski, "Their pizzas, salads and sandwiches are outrageously good and I encourage everyone to visit them for a terrific meal and to help the Children's Scholarship Program which provides awards to NJ high school seniors diagnosed with TS who have excelled in their schools and communities."
Osteria Procaccini is located at 4428 Route 27 North in Kingston (South Brunswick). For more information about Tourette Syndrome or the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome's Children's Scholarship Program call 908-575-7350 or www.njcts.org. - 9:00 p.
