Singapore, Singapore, October 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Neoedge, a leading events producer in Singapore, will hold the Global Procurement Fraud Master Class in Singapore on the 29th-31st October 2014. The international event will be happening in Hotel Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay. This professional development master class is Neoedge’s call for companies to set Procurement Fraud on top of its organisational priority.
While the Global Procurement Fraud Master Class 2014 will help companies to prevent, mitigate and investigate procurement fraud, upon the conclusion of this event, the delegates will be able to have an understanding of the existence of fraud within the procurement lifecycle. It will help the delegates identify what processes will companies need to have to be able to assess and then prevent or reduce the risk of procurement fraud.
According to Thomas Ooi, Project Director at Neoedge, “This event will provide the delegates with the clear policies and procedures which they need in order to implement as they go back to their organizations. The Global Procurement Fraud also comes with a desktop aide memoire containing the complete information of the course.”
“We are very excited about this event which we have conceptualised to benefit all procurement managers, purchasing officers, internal audit managers and everyone that is involved in the supply chain management process to detect and mitigate procurement fraud,” Ooi added.
The overall facilitator of the training course is Rob McCusker. The globally known trainer is the current Director at the Centre for Fraud and Financial Crime and Reader in Fraud and Financial Crime within Teesside University Business School. McCusker is also the Corruption Advisor for CIPS.
“We are expecting positive receptions in the upcoming training course in Singapore. To be able to gather and meet different procurement professionals from different industries and to be able to help them detect, prevent and investigate procurement fraud in their companies, will be our greatest reward,” Ooi ended.
