Northern California Motorcyclists Top $69,000 for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation

Northern California Motorcyclists Top $69,000 for the PBTF.

Asheville, NC, October 08, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Motorcyclists at the 22nd Northern California Ride for Kids came out in force to support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation on Oct. 5. As of ride time, the event had raised $69,502.

Nearly 200 riders attended the event at Solano Community College in Fairfield to honor local children with brain tumors. The Northern California Stars were Blue, Brennan, Elias and Vanessa.

“It’s just nice to have someone to contact, and we are fortunate to have the research,” Brennan’s mom, Nicole, told the riders. “This is why we are all here.”

Making life better for Ride for Kids Stars is the reason motorcyclists across the country ride for the PBTF, which funds medical research and family support programs to help eliminate the challenges of childhood brain tumors.

The event is still collecting donations online at www.rideforkids.org. Fundraisers will receive incentive credit through Nov. 5.
