Medicare Supplement Insurance Association Focuses on Expected Growth

The American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance announced plans to help agents capitalize on the anticipated growth of policy sales.

Los Angeles, CA, October 08, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Experts predict Medicare Supplement Insurance sales will grow 46 percent over the next five years.

"The Medigap market continues to grow and the next five years will see some unprecedented growth," explains Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance. By 2018 some 13.9 million policies are expected to be in force according to a report from CSG Actuarial.

"By 2018 nearly 61 million Americans will be eligible for Medicare," says Slome. "That number grows to 68 million by 2022 making the Medicare Supplement Insurance market one destined to see continued growth in the years ahead."

To assist insurance and financial professionals seeking to successfully market Medicare Supplement or Medigap insurance products, the Association plans to stream four hours of training from the organization's 2015 national industry conference.

Access to view the online sessions will be free-of-charge. "Any agent with a computer or tablet and the access code can watch top Medicare Supplement insurance agents who are speaking at the conference share how they find prospects and how they make sales," Slome notes.

Pre-registration is required to receive the special access information. To register go to www.insuranceexpos.com prior to the conference.

The American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance is the latest organization to offer free online sessions broadcast by Virtual Insurance Conferences and Expos. The recently established entity broadcast 3 days of sessions online from the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance's 2014 LTC Sales Summit.
