Caesars Entertainment Headliner Attempts Never-Been-Done Stunt on the Las Vegas Strip to Raise Money for Special Olympics Nevada

Jeff Civillico, Headliner at The Quad Resort & Casino, attempts to rappel down the side of Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino while juggling down to safety. He is calling it “Rappuggling.”

Las Vegas, NV, October 08, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Las Vegas Headliner Jeff Civillico is proving once again that (1) he is passionate about giving back to the Vegas community, and (2) he is a little crazy. This will be Civillico’s third year participating in “Over the Edge,” Special Olympics Nevada’s largest fundraiser of the year, benefiting programs for Nevada athletes year-round. Last year, Civillico rode his unicycle off the roof of Planet Hollywood before rappelling down to The Strip. This year, he is topping that by juggling while rappelling the whole way down. The stunt takes place this Friday, October 10th at 3 p.m. outside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Civillico hopes his “rappuggle” will bring in significant funds for Special Olympics Nevada, and raise more awareness in Las Vegas for the nonprofit organization.

Within hours of posting the video announcing the stunt on his website, his fan base raised the $1000 minimum required to participate in the fundraiser. Now it’s just a question of how much more money Civillico’s whacky stunt can generate for Special Olympics. Civillico has always had a strong connection with his fan base. He has the only crowd-funded set in Las Vegas, a testament to the high level of engagement he has with his supporters. His fans raised $11,000+ in three days to create a 40’ wide x 20’ high inflatable arch that to this day serves as his stage set.

Jeff Civillico currently headlines at The Quad Resort & Casino with a clean comedy show that blends physical humor with stunts, juggling, balancing, and audience participation. He performs his “Comedy in Action” show in the 650-seat Q Theater five days a week at 4 p.m. (off Tuesday / Friday). The “rappuggle” stunt fits in well with Civillico’s high-energy, daredevil brand. In his highly-acclaimed all-ages show recently voted “Best of Las Vegas 2014” by the Las Vegas Review Journal, Jeff balances a 14-foot ladder on his chin, juggles fire and bowling balls, escapes from a strait jacket on a unicycle, and more.

Civillico is no stranger to charity. He is the Founder & Chairman of Win-Win Entertainment, a legal 501c3 nonprofit based in Las Vegas that matches performers willing to donate their time and talent with charity organizations in need of entertainment. Since its inception in 2011, Win-Win Entertainment has arranged dozens of charity shows in Las Vegas, placing entertainers into direct service at hospitals, nursing homes, air forces bases, and classrooms.
