Celebrating the Third Anniversary of Forest of Angels

Forest of Angels brings local businesses and charities together to work on a common goal – bettering our community.

The third anniversary event kicks off on November 5, 2014 at Bahama Breeze restaurant in Sunrise. Tree sponsors, event sponsors and vendors are welcomed to take part in the celebration dinner and meet the Forest of Angels founders.

From November 29th through December 20th, Forest of Angels will transform The Promenade at Coconut Creek into a Christmas Tree Forest. Local businesses will sponsor and decorate a tree, designate a charitable cause, and then enter The Forest of Angels Best Decorated Tree Contest. The winning tree will be awarded the top prize, which will go to that business’ charity. The remaining prize pool money will be divided among all the other charities that are being sponsored by a business.

During the four-week event, attendees will enjoy weekend activities such as pictures with Santa, face painting, ornament decorating, visits from a variety of characters, and other family entertainment. It is the goal of Forest of Angels to bring businesses together to make a positive impact on the lives of those served by the charities involved. The best part of the program is that a business gains exposure by giving back to the community.
