Moore & Van Allen Member Named to CPCC Board of Trustees
Moore & Van Allen PLLC Charlotte Corporate Member Scott Syfert was appointed to the Central Piedmont Community College Board of Trustees. Syfert will serve a four-year term, which began this past summer. He was appointed to the board by Governor Pat McCrory.
Charlotte, NC, October 15, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Moore & Van Allen PLLC is pleased to announce that Charlotte Corporate Member Scott Syfert was appointed to the Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) Board of Trustees. Syfert will serve a four-year term, which began this past summer. He was appointed to the board by Governor Pat McCrory.

Syfert practices on Moore & Van Allen’s Corporate team, handling corporate transactions, general corporate and commercial law matters for foreign and domestic clients. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, international joint ventures and international transactions, as well as U.S. visa and immigration law.
Duke Energy executive Richard “Stick” Williams was also appointed to the CPCC Board of Trustees. Judy Allison, a retired First Union Corp. senior vice president and director of the First Union Foundation, was reappointed to the board and will serve as vice chair. Ed Dalrymple, managing principal of CAPTRUST Financial Advisors, assumed the duties as the new chair.
