Future Electronics Promotes Fairchild’s New OptoHiT™ Series
Future Electronics has announced immediate availability of the new OptoHiT™ Series from Fairchild.
Pointe Claire, Canada, October 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, has announced immediate availability of the new OptoHiT™ Series from Fairchild.
In Fairchild's OptoHiT™ Series, the FODM8801 is a first-of-its kind phototransistor, utilizing Fairchild's leading-edge proprietary process technology to achieve high operating temperature characteristics, up to 125°C.
The optocoupler consists of an aluminum gallium arsenide (AIGaAs) infrared light-emitting diode (LED) optically coupled to a phototransistor, available in a compact half-pitch, mini-flat, 4-pin package. It delivers high current ratio at very low input current.
Primarily suited for DC-DC converters, typical applications include ground-loop isolation, signal-noise isolation, communications (adapters, chargers), consumer applications like appliances and set-top boxes, and industrial applications such as power supplies, motor control, and programmable logic control.
