About the Author

The author G. B. Lipscombe was born and raised in the north of England. He is one of six children born into a mixed religious marriage and raised in working class surroundings, educated in the secondary modern school system of England he left school with no exam qualifications at all. He is now fifty-seven years old. He is divorced, with four children and four grandchildren. His troubles with his own life's addictions and the authority's attempts to correct him have taught him a great deal about human nature and the law. This book is a result of that experience.
