J.P. Turner’s Ronald Eiger Teams Up with the Ronald McDonald House

Lake Mary, FL, October 19, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Ronald Eiger, a J.P. Turner financial advisor, will be serving dinner to the families in one of The Ronald McDonald Houses on October 28.

In the spirit of Halloween, Ronald Eiger and his team at J.P. Turner will be wearing their Halloween costumes while volunteering their time to provide dinner for the families living in one of The Ronald McDonald Houses in Orlando. The Central Florida chapter of The Ronald McDonald House Charities currently has two houses that provide a home away from home experience for families with seriously ill children. They are raising funds to complete a third house in the Orlando area to provide comfort to even more families.

The Ronald McDonald Houses serve over 1,800 families each year. The comforting atmosphere helps to provide families with hope and healing while keeping them together when they need it the most. Before the Ronald McDonald Houses, parents were sleeping in their cars in chairs in the waiting rooms, eating out of vending machines or bearing the expense of impersonal hotel rooms. Now, they can live comfortably while their ill children receive treatment.

All of The Ronald McDonald Houses across the country offer each family home-cooked meals, private bedrooms, playrooms for the children, recreational activities and sibling support services. Since 1974, The Ronald McDonald House network of local chapters has been making children happier and healthier by keeping families together and giving them a place to rest and refresh.
