Glenn Gary Productions Proudly Presents International Magician Jeff McBride
Venice, FL, October 21, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Glenn Gary Productions announced today that it will be presenting International magician Jeff McBride for two nights at the Cabaret of Magic Interactive Theater in Venice Florida on October 29th and 30th, along with two additional nights at the regal Keating Theatre in beautiful downtown Sarasota Florida, October 31 – November 1st.
McBride's signature fusion of mask, myth, drama and illusion reflects his lifelong study of magic's multi-cultural roots. His first full-evening show, Mask, Myth & Magic, won acclaim Off-Broadway and on national tour, as well as at arts festivals in Barcelona (for the 1992 Olympics), London, Hong Kong, China, and Bangkok. Prior to going solo, McBride was the opening act of choice for Tina Turner, Diana Ross, and other top stars. He has been profiled in Elle Magazine, Town & Country, Harpers and dozens of other publications worldwide.
“Jeff will present a lecture Thursday, Oct 30th after the show,” says Cabaret of Magic’s owner, Glenn Gary. “Then a workshop on Saturday, Nov 1st from 12 to 3 PM. The workshop is for budding magicians to get personalized training from the master teacher.”
Jeff McBride is recognized as a foremost innovator in contemporary magic. New York Times columnist Glenn Collins writes, "What Mr. McBride gives his audiences is a mesmerizing performance... a magic show that is at once a celebration of mystery and a struggle to understand powerful forces."
